1) How do I get MS FrontPage extensions installed?
In order to use Microsoft FrontPage, you will need to tell us to install FrontPage extensions
when you order your account. You will need to supply us with the username and password for your
FrontPage extensions. Then, just use the publish function in FrontPage to transfer your pages.
The extensions can also be added at any time after the initial setup. To do this, send us an
email at support@drwebhosting.com with your domain
name and your desired FrontPage username and password. FrontPage usernames and passwords are
seperate from the rest of your account. They can be the same or diffrent then the username and
password that you use for email, siteadmin, etc.
2) How do I change my FrontPage and username/password?
Email us at
support@drwebhosting.com
with your domain name and give us the information you would like changed.
3) When opening a Front Page web with FP Explorer, it responds "Server Timed
Out..Request could not be completed." What should I do?
On occasion, the file on our server that contains the usernames for those who have author
permission for the various webs becomes corrupted, and one or more of the valid author names is
erased. This is a problem with the design of the FrontPage extensions and isn't a problem with our
server. Email us at support@drwebhosting.com
with your domain name, tell us what the problem is, and we'll fix it for you.
4) How can I fix the error - "root web busy"
Some of you have complained about the "root web busy" error that FrontPage will sometimes return
when you try to access your web. This is caused by a previous session of FrontPage being
terminated abnormally (such as a dropped connection, or turning off your computer while it is still
connected). This is a problem with the design of the FrontPage extensions and isn't a problem with
our server. Email us at support@drwebhosting.com
with your domain name, tell us what the problem is, and we'll fix it for you.
